I recently had the pleasure of photographing Kim and Zakk in Dover, NH for their engagement session. The weather was perfect, and we basically had the trail to ourselves!
We started with some photos in a wide section of trail. The evening light was soft, and Kim and Zakk were open to a lot of different pose ideas.
The community trail follows the Cochecho River, and gave us a nice variety of picturesque backdrops.
We made our way a bit farther, and made a stop along the riverside for some shots. Did I mention that the lighting was perfect?
Our next stop was a narrow and dark section of trail. I set up an off-camera flash to light them up a bit more against the backdrop.
We worked through more different poses as we made our way back along the trail. The sun was even lower now, and the light a bit more golden, so we made another stop along the trail where we first started. These are some of my favorites!
I had a great time with Kim and Zakk! They were a lot of fun to work with, they’re clearly a perfect match, and they’re naturals in front of the camera. I look forward to their wedding day!
