Franny & Joe's Springtime Wedding in Massachusetts

On May 25, Joe and Franny were married at St. Margaret of Scotland Church in Lowell, MA, followed by a reception with family and friends at Four Oaks Country Club in Dracut. It was a beautiful celebration of love for an amazing couple, and the weather was perfect too!
On the morning of their big day, Franny and Joe spent time with their closest friends and family, getting prepped and anticipating the moments to come. Franny shared a heartfelt first look with her father. She also got to spend some time with Goose!
Guests arrived at St. Margaret of Scotland Church for the Catholic Mass and wedding ceremony. The marriage of Franny and Joe was witnessed by Father Brian Mahoney in the presence of family and friends. Rings and vows were exchanged, and their union was sealed with a kiss.
Upon arrival at the venue, we focused on portraits of the bride and groom with their families and bridal party. The sun was hot, so we found a perfect shady spot to capture these photos.
After we finished up with photos, the couple joined their cocktail hour to mingle with guests. The outdoor space at Four Oaks is stunning, and the landscape with freshly planted flowers looked and smelled incredible.
Joe and Franny were welcomed into the grand ballroom and shared their first dance to a unique remix of “Invisible String” by Taylor Swift. After this dance, the maids of honor and best man shared their toasts to the new bride and groom. The venue was elegantly decorated, with fine details throughout the space and beautiful florals from Petal by Sabrina.
After dinner, we snuck out for some sunset photos. The colors in the sky were beautiful over the valley, and the gentle breeze felt just right. I used a softbox to light up Franny and Joe, which let me properly expose for the sky to show off the colors of the sunset.
Once the sun went down, Franny and Joe cut their wedding cake, and then shared a mother/son and father/daughter dance. Franny even included a surprise dance with her mom! After that, DJ Juice got the people moving to the music. The dance floor was absolutely packed! Make a Mark Events also had a photo booth for guests to take fun photos throughout the night.
I want to give a big thank you to Sam of Petit Images for photographing with me for the day and getting some incredible shots, and also to the videographer, Brian of Hanscoop Films, for being so cooperative and fun to work with.
It was truly a pleasure to work with Franny and Joe, as well as all of the vendors and people that made this wedding such a success. Thanks to all involved, and congratulations to the newlyweds! Wishing them a lifetime of happiness!
